School Banking

What is it?

School Banking at ANPS is a P&C supported fundraising initiative.  It helps to encourage children develop the habit of saving regularly, it is fun & rewarding.  The program is also run by volunteer parents at our school so it's a great way to get to know and contribute to the school community.

P&C receives $5 when children make their first deposit at school and 5% commission on all deposits made at school.

How it works

  • Children will need a Commonwealth Bank Youthsaver account.  This can be opened at any Commonwealth Bank branch, over the phone on 13 2221 or online if the parent is an existing customer with Netbank access.  You will need your driver's licence and the child's birth certificate.
  • Bring the Dollarmites deposit book (make sure deposit slip is completed) and money to the School Banking desk every week during term
  • Children receive a Dollarmites token each time they bank at school, regardless of the amount.
  •  They then save up the tokens to redeem for rewards (1 deposit = 1 token, 10 tokens = 1 reward)

When is it?
Every Wednesday between 8.30am and 9am, outside the office
