Annandale North Public School library is a student friendly, open planned learning space.
Opening times
The library is open for classes from Monday to Friday and during the second half of lunch, from 1:22pm to 1:45pm, on Mondays to Thursdays. Students can borrow, play games, read, draw, research, chat or relax during this time.
Care of books
Children need to return their library books on their library day. If this is not possible or convenient, they can return them to their classroom teacher or put them in the shute in the circulation desk in the library. Books should be kept in a safe place at home and carried to and from school in a library bag. Help your child to accept responsibility for remembering to return books on the right day.
Access to our library catalogue
If you or your child want to view the library catalog at home, you can access our catalog by asking them to log onto their Kidspace portal. This portal is also a safe way for them to access the internet at home.
Library monitors
Year 6 students are invited to become library monitors. They take on a leadership role and assist the students who come to the library at lunchtimes from Mondays to Thursdays of each week.
