Around our school

Welcoming Future Learners

As part of our Transition to Primary School program, we were delighted to welcome children from Hilda Booler and Explore & Develop Annandale to visit our school. Alongside our Kindergarten students, they enjoyed a rainbow ribbon dance, story time in the classroom, morning tea in the playground, and opportunities to explore our Urban Playground and Musical Play Garden.

These experiences are an important part of supporting a positive transition to school, helping children develop confidence, independence and a sense of belonging as they begin their primary school journey.

Visit to Whites Creek Community Garden

As part of their Human Society and Its Environment unit, Stage 1 students visited the White’s Creek Community Garden to explore the important roles and contributions of community helpers. Through inquiry-based learning and hands-on experiences, students investigated how people work together to support and strengthen their local community.

Our Kindergarten students recently celebrated a wonderful milestone – 100 Days of Kindergarten! The day was filled with exciting hands-on activities, creative challenges and plenty of fun as students explored the number 100 in a variety of engaging ways. It was also an opportunity to reflect on how much they have learned, the friendships they have built and the confidence they have developed during their first 100 days of school. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and look forward to the many exciting learning experiences still to come.

Congratulations to Iago

Iago's artwork 3F Faces - A Self Portrait has been selected for display at the Art Space Gallery at The Concourse, Chatswood, as part of the Operation Art exhibition. This statewide exhibition celebrates the creativity of young artists while bringing colour, comfort and hope to children in hospital. Showcasing works created by students from across NSW, Operation Art highlights the power of art to make a positive difference in the lives of others. We are incredibly proud of Iago’s achievement and the opportunity to share his creativity with the wider community.

Congratulations to Indie on her outstanding achievements in football! After nine months of training in the invitational Western Sydney Wanderers Elite Pre-Academy program, Indie has been selected to join the Western Sydney Wanderers Under 14 Youth Team for next season, a testament to her exceptional talent, dedication and hard work. Adding to this success, Indie has also been selected to represent the Sydney East Regional Football Team after progressing through the Balmain Zone team. She will compete in September for a place in the NSW State Team. We are incredibly proud of Indie's achievements and wish her every success as she continues to pursue her football dreams.
Our talented musicians recently represented Annandale North Public School with pride at the Kegworth Public School Autumn Fair. Students from our Senior Band, Senior Strings and Orchestra ensembles delighted the community with a series of outstanding performances, showcasing their musical skill, teamwork and dedication. Performing in front of a large audience provided a wonderful opportunity for students to share their talents while building confidence and celebrating the vibrant Creative Arts program at our school. We are incredibly proud of the professionalism and enthusiasm they displayed throughout the event.
