Our history
In the early 1900s, the population of Annandale was growing and another school in the local area was a necessity.
Annandale North Public School was established in 1907, opening on the 8th of April. The first Principal of the school was William Liggins.
By the following year, student enrolment reached 595 students. Strong community involvement has been a tradition since 1907.
The school recognises Annandale's heritage buildings, naming the sporting houses after the names of the so-called "witches' houses":
- Claremont
- Kenilworth
- Hockington
- Highroyd.
