Annandale North Public School was established in 1907 opening on the 8th of April. The population of Annandale was growing and another school in the local area was a necessity. Student enrolment reached 595 students by the following year. The first Principal of the school was William Liggins. Strong community involvement has been a tradition since 1907.
The school recognises Annandale's heritage buildings, naming the sporting houses after the names of the witches houses:
Our school motto is 'Strive to Excel'.
